Maintenance time: May

In June 2002, in the Grand Kaptol, the Tourist Board of the town and the City of Sisak renewed the “Flower Fair”, recognizing it as an interesting tourist project. All of our fellow citizens who decorate yards and business premises are looking for new solutions to the Fair, which are geared towards ideas for their gardens and businesses. Some of them are the winners of the Golden Victoria award for the most beautiful yard, balcony and business space. By edifying the environment, citizens increase the quality of life, but also contribute to a more beautiful appearance of Sisak.

It’s interesting to think of tourists who experience Sisak as a gray industrial city, which changes after sightseeing. Sisak is, in fact, a green and interesting town with a beautiful promenade along the Kupa, friendly people – always good hosts, and this is evidenced by the numerous green flowers of the Croatian Tourist Board which the city of Sisak has received as one of the most sought after cities of continental Croatia.

The Flower Fair, on a beautiful spot in the City Park, attracts guests and is certainly the reason for new visits. To love your city means showing it in the most beautiful light and inviting your friends and business partners. Flower Fair is a great opportunity for it!

The first weekend of September, the Sisak walk trail is a sign of the Kupske noci, a manifestation that lasts for three days and within which a number of interesting events are organized. The idea is to bring Sisak back and show the people’s presence on the River Kupa, and that a similar event that took place only one evening turns into something more long-term, more quality and more economical.
This event is the result of close cooperation between the Sisak City Museum and the Tourist Board of Sisak, and we have also created a symbiosis of companies and institutions and we all work together. The most interesting part of if is for sure – Aero Show – so, don’t miss it! From other interesting things you can check Sisacka alka (quoit) and sikljada.

So cool! We have a medieval market every year in Turku (Finland) and you really see how people are dressed up and the funny part is that they have plays in the middle of the market πŸ˜€ everybody has a role there and it’s very funny to follow when there’s suddenly a sword fight hahaha
