When you live somewhere, there is always a place where you spent most of your time to take a break for a coffee and can’t resist to come back every single time when you’re near, right?
It happened to me in every city or country where I lived and so far I lived in Croatia, Malta and Spain.
This time I want to share my story from one hotel in Santiago de Compostela, Spain which has an amazing garden and I spend a lot of days there.
It’s perfect to take your early breakfast, afternoon cup of coffee or just chill during the night.
An urban garden to forget the world
Close your eyes and imagine the Cathedral bells in the background, the old city gates, the sound of birds singing, while smelling the aroma of fruit trees and flowers from a terrace in the city centre. Far away from everything, close to what matters.
We invite you to spend a few days with us and do nothing more than what you’ve been wanting to do for some time, breathing in deeply and watching the minutes pass by, while urgent matters are far away.
Costa Vella is located in Santiago de Compostela’s old town, in a quiet area that is only a few metres from some of the best restaurants and most important leisure spots. Nearby, the Cathedral and some of the most emblematic buildings and that magical atmosphere that envelops the city. Do you need any more reasons for coming?
This garden has been my inspiration a lot of times, it just has something magical and interesting in it that makes you go back every time when you’re near.

Wow, this was a great way to introduce us to the Garden Cafe. The place looks beautiful and peaceful. I can imagine the sound of the cathedral bells while I sit an laze around in the cafe.

This is a very thorough review! It seems like this is a lovely little cafe to visit. I’d definitely like to try that chocolate cake and hot chocolate! The setting looks like it would be very peaceful and pretty when the garden is in full bloom.

Looks like a fine place to relax, have a coffee and … don’t do anything the whole day… just eat cakes. I sometimes stay in places like that, when I want to have rest from a busy city.

The cafe seems really nice. When I was in Spain last year, I could not manage to visit Santiago de Compostela due to time limit but I have in my list since long. So when I go there next time, I am surely visiting this cafe.

I haven’t been to Santiago de Compostela yet but I’m planning to go soon. The Garden Cafe in Hotel Costa Vella looks gorgeous! I’m totally taking a note on this one!
